favourite place in london
never thought i'd say this, but i am actually starting to miss London. Vienna is fantastic, but in a sense knowing that my time here is limited i just want to go 'home' sometimes, have all my stuff and feel settled.
in order to start the birthday celebrations we went to the Prater today. who knew that amusement parks really could provide hours of amusement. the money that was spend on rides was won back on one of those fruit machines (with €1!). sushi buffet dinner. true lies at home.
adam and i are both going to uni in london next year - how surreal. this brings me onto the topic of the eternal nightmare which is 'flathunting'. it seems that finding a flat in continental europe is relatively easy and quite a lot cheaper. both in france and in austria one bedroom apartments have been moderately priced, but oh london...
